Who We Are | Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) is proud to have 17 agencies serving 47 counties, both rural and urban, across the state Ohio. In the spirit of collaboration and innovation, these agencies partner together through the Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of Ohio to increase resources that allow for the sustainment and growth of programs that ultimately benefit youth as well as their communities in which they live, learn, work and play.
THE POWER OF RELATIONSHIPS
Our youth are some of the most talented, creative, smart, resilient, and inspiring people we know. While we cannot easily eliminate circumstances or systemic barriers they may experience, we can intentionally partner with them to reignite their engagement with the broader community and remind them they are not alone. By fostering intentional relationships, mentors can help support youth in further pursuit of their dreams by amplifying their unique strengths.
At the Big Brothers Big Sisters Association of Ohio, we firmly believe in the power of collective impact which is why across the state we are working tirelessly to advocate for mentorship. We are unapologetically dedicated to creating and cultivating a safe environment where all individuals feel respected and valued equally. Through building meaningful relationships with changemakers and policymakers, and using credible research, we are committed to defending the potential of all Ohio’s youth- they are our future.
